Narendra Modi’s one of the strongest critics Tarun Gogoi, Assam chief minister ahead of assembly elections in the state has taken steps to expand his digital presence.

With Bhartiya Janta Party, Assam Chief Minister is ready to have digital war with an website that is interactive, a blog on word press and sessions on Google Hangout. Since the 2014 Lok Sabha elections he had used digital platforms and social media effectively.

He has 27,400 followers on his official Twitter page as compared to Sarbananda Sonowal chief ministerial candidate,Bhartiya Janta Party he has 11,800 followers on his official Twitter page.

Out of 14 Lok Sabha seats, Bhartiya Janta Party won 7 seats. Narendra Modi’s social media handle is to be analyzed by the public relations team of Tarun Gogoi and came up with an outreach program as per NDTV source.

Professionals in Guwahati and New Delhi are also hired along with the ‘360 degree digital convergence plan’ planned by Gaurav Gogoi . A web portal was launched for Chief Minister Office by Tarun Gogoi through the portal he can interact.

Features like social media integration, social media integration, tab and mobile version are on the portal and includes 60 other features. Interactive App soon that works on all platforms will be launched soon by Tarun Gogoi.
‘An instant hit’ his Google hangout sessions are, he is one of the first northeast chief minister to have such good online presence.

“We will be doing one Hangout a month. Later, we might increase the frequency. We had three so far. Youngsters are taking part,” said Gaurav Dasgupta, moderator of Google Hangout sessions.

On alternate days, he has been updating the Blog and the Blog site on Word press has been complete hit.
