If BJP-SAD alliance wins, Badal continues to be Punjab Chief Minister

In the 2017 Assembly election, if the alliance of BJP-SAD comes to power Parkash Singh Badal will continue to be the Cheif Minister heading to the BJP-SAD government said by Sukhbir Singh Badal Deputy Chief Minister.

“If the people of Punjab gives SAD-BJP coalition the responsibility of forming the next government, Badal would be the chief minister again,” he said.

Parkash Singh Badal under his leadership,government of Punjab has implemented various decisions in order to improve state’s cultural-socio-economic face,said by Sukhbir Badal while conversing with the NRI’s from New Zealand,Norway,  Canada,  UK and USA at his residence.

Urging the NRIs to be wary of the alleged anti-Punjab and anti-Sikh propaganda being spread by Opposition parties, the Deputy Chief Minister said, “We will go to the people with our development agenda.

He had urged the Punjabis all over the world to counter the forces that are involved in defaming the image of the state of Punjab as as “bankrupt” and Punjabis as “drug addicts.”

During previous Congress rule state’s gross domestic product ,it was Rs 5,04,937 crore during 2007-12, it rose to Rs. 1,09,874 crore and since 2012 till now it is Rs 13,51,348 crore said by Parkash Singh Badal.

From 2002-07, Rs  19,960 crore was gained while to Rs 44,209 crore was gained in the year 2007-12 and from 2012 till now it is Rs 62,706 crore of revenue in VAT was collected.

In 5 year rule under(of the receipts of revenue) the Congress government  only Rs. 36,000 crore was yielded during 2007-12 it was Rs. 68,757 crore and since 2012 till now it is Rs. 99,741 crore.

He further added that due to persistent efforts of “present regime” Punjab has become power surplus state.In 17th rank in powerboard it stands in 2011 while it was given ‘best power utility‘ award in the year 2015.

Rs. 30,000 crore has been spent by the state in order to achieve a status in generation of power by adding 6,100 MW said by  Badal.
