In Punjab, BJP and SAD not to show differences publicly

In Punjab, the leadership of Bhartiya Janta Party and Shiromani Akali Dal has reached consent that in public they will not show their grievances and also decided at “joint party platforms” they’ll address their grievances.

In New Delhi, Arun Jaitley, Union Finance Minister had held a meeting where if any of the workers from any parties have concerns, to address these there “assembly-wise coordination committees” are to be formed.

Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab, Sukhbir Singh Badal party president and Naresh Gujral, MP Rajya Sabha represented Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD). Kamal Sharma, Punjab unit president;Ram Lal, national general secretary; Avinash Rai Khanna MP Rajya Sabha; Tarun Chugh., national secretary; these leaders from Bhartiya Janta Party were present during the meeting.

Madan Mohan Mittal, Anil Joshi, Surjit Kumar Jyani were also present during the meeting except Bhagat Chunni Lal.

The allies also deliberated at length the strategy for the 2017 assembly polls, particularly in battling anti-incumbency. “The gist of the meeting was that no grievances will be aired in public,” a leader who was present told The Indian Express.

He further added that “The message was to bury the past and think of the future.”The work of development carried out by government which is in alliance was in highlight and had been “overshadowed” due to internal disagreement.

Sukhbir Badal, Deputy Chief Minister was highlighting and bringing up issue Navjot Kaur, CPS,Bhartiya Janta Party of wife of Navjot Singh Sidhu and attacking Shiromani Akali Dal .

On many occasions with Bhartiya Janta Party,she advocated that Bhartiya Janta Party must “snap ties” with Shiromani Akali Dal.

“The BJP leader said Cabinet Minister Anil Joshi too cried foul over the attack on his brother Rajesh Joshi in the run-up to civic body elections in Tarn Taran in February 2015. Blaming SAD for the attack, Joshi had at that time urged his party to review its alliance with SAD.”

Amit Shah,Bhartiya Janta Party president, in a meeting with Bhartiya Janta Party and Shiromani Akali Dal had created a coordination committee, which was headed by Arun Jailtley,in order to address the differences issue of alliance against each other.
