Mayawati , leader of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) said that BSP will not enter into any kind of alliance for the upcoming polls in Punjab, U.P, and Uttrakhand.
She told that BSP works on the ideology of B R Ambedkar, who professed equality in the society.
Mayawati said that BSP will not form an alliance with any party that have different ideology.
She further added that just for the sake of elections, her party do not believe in forming alliance. BSP did not formed any ally in the states where BSP was weak.

So therefore no question arises when her party lies in the strong region. BSP will not form alliance with any other party in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttrakhand, it will the polls all alone.
In Uttrakhand, she cleared the air that BSP supports the Congress and it was mere floor test and not elections. There are two different issues first is contesting the elections and second is supporting a party to form the government.
The main idea behind this movement is to bring equality to all the section of the society and political power is important for implementation of such ideology.
