Karunanidhi asks Jayalalithaa to answer questions Piyush Goyal raised

Piyush Goyal is accusing that Jayalalithaa,Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu was “ inaccessible “.M Karunanidhi, DMK president  said that Jayalalithaa should answer him rather than “ pitching in” for her ministerial colleagues.

“Is it not proper for the Chief Minister to come forward to answer the accusation of the Union Ministers?” he asked in a statement.

Prakash Javadekar, Union Minister was also supporting Piyush Goyal’s said that in the last 22 months of his rule,he was not able to reach Jayalalithaa.

“What Piyush Goyal has said is true. That is the experience of people (of the state),” Mr Javadekar, the BJP’s poll-in-charge for Tamil Nadu, had said in Delhi yesterday.

Karunanidhi referring to the O Panneerselvam and Natham R Viswanathan,state ministers counter statement at Piyush Goyal said that the statements against the Union ministers are argumentative and they do not answer any accusations.

He further questioned that an appointment  with Jayalalithaa with Piyush Goyal had been soughted out or not in order to discuss the issues of power on state and further questioned that in order to meet her why not any oppurnity has been given yet.

Slamming Mr Panneerselvam and Mr Viswanathan, he asked, “Could these Ministers easily meet Chief Minister Jayalalithaa?”

 Karunanidhi  asked earlier Jayalalithaa at Piyush Goyal’s charges to respond back.

Mr Viswanathan  and Mr Panneerselvam had “slammed” that Piyush Goyal had been involved in cheap politics and political mileage.
