BJP hopes to win in the upcoming election in Tamil Nadu after winning the elections of 2014. In the assembly.BJP is not able to find even a single ally despite attracting every important party in the state. So BJP is going all alone in the upcoming elections.
The hyped friendship between the Narendra Modi and Jayalalithaa has not helped much. Especially after defeats of BJP in Bihar and Delhi elections, Jayalalithaa have “ given the BJP a wide berth” .
Vijayakanth of the DMDK had allaince with with the Left parties and smaller Dravidian partners and can also be declared as the Chief Ministeral Candidate. From PMK’s Ramadoss and AISMK’s Sarath Kumar have rejected the allaince. Y Gopalakrishnan, also known as Vaiko, of MDMK, has seperated company with the NDA.
It is the cadres of other parties, who are responsible for this, said state BJP chief Tamilisai Soundararajajn. “All the parties we tried have their own chief ministerial aspirations and they want to lead the Front. We leaders can compromise but cadre won’t,” he said.
In Tamil Nadu, BJP had never been a very strong power where the power have moved between the 2 parties. Even after having such Modi success in 2014, out of total 39 seats it just got only 1 seat in Lok Sabha because Tamil nadu have had a history against the anti-Hindi sentiment and BJP is seen as a Hindi belt party.

A rise of 5.6% from the earlier 2.6% have been seen in the share of vote in the 2014 elections, following the with the MDMK and a few smaller parties. BJP has said that it will emerge out as an alternative to the AIADMK and DMK.
