For Uttar Pradesh elections,Bhartiya Janta Party’s campaign must be built on the platform of social media said by Amit Shah, party’s president. Social media‘s presence of a person will be the key factor for determining the suitability of Bhartiya Janta Party’s candidate.
In the assembly election in 2017, Bhartiya Janta Party is hoping and speculating to repeat its outstanding performance like in 2014 national election. At the meeting leaders like Narendra Modi, one of the top leaders of Bhartiya Janta Party was stressed that they will have to work really hard for such victory.
For 2014 election, Shah had crafted the campaign for Uttar Pradesh and out of 80 seats in Lok Sabha of the state,Bhartiya Janta Party had 71 seats and also said that on different platforms of social media state legislator must aim in getting at least 25,000 likes or followers and MPs must have 50,000.
He further added that the workers at the “grassroots” must be very active on Social Media and for the elections of U.P. a separate wing must be set up.
In U.P, Bhartiya Janta Party’s takes on Mulayam Singh Yadav of Samajwadi Party whose currently ruling the state and Mayawati of Bahujan Samaj Party are “back in their forms in local elections” that were held after the national election, “when a Modi wave swept everyone aside”.
Amit Shah’s strategy in Uttar Pradesh will come against Prashant Kishore, election planner’s plan of re-birth of Congress in the state. For Nitish Kumar, Bihar Chief Minister Prashant Kishore designed “a winning strategy” last year in the month of November. For national election of 2014 he also had crafted some key elements for Modi’s campaign like “Chai pe Charcha” and “ 3 D holograms”.
Prashant Kishor ,”who delivers custom campaigns” has now been appointed in by the Congress in order to reverse the depressing performance in Uttar Pradesh in last year.
