Nitish Kumar, Bihar Chief Minister and JD(U) President will be the cchief guest at BSP rebel RK Chaudhary’s rally. There are speculations of an allaince between Nitish Kumar’s party and the Bahujan Samaj Swabhiman Sangharsh Samiti for the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
RK Chaudhary, a Dalit leader and ex Mayawati’s aide said that Nitish Kumar will be the chief guest at the BS-4 rally. It is scheduled to be held at Bijli Pasi Qila.
On June 30, RK Chaudhary had quit BSP alleging Mayawati of “auctioning” tickets for the upcoming elections. Three other party leaders who resigned, including Swami Prasad Maurya, an OBC leader.
“At the time of elections, tickets are allotted to those who pay the highest amount,” Chaudhary and Maurya had alleged.
Nitish Kumar has been holding rallies in Uttar Pradesh, particularly in the eastern parts of the state. He is promising prohibition including the other things to the voters.
The rally assumes significance on account of his presence as chief guest in the run-up to the polls.
