Considering next year’s Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Chief of Samajwadi Party sent out a strict message to the party rank and file, stating “there was no space for criminals in it” and asked its leaders to remain “alert about their behavior”.
“There is no alternative to socialist ideology. The image of SP is different from other parties, which is due to its character, dedication and honesty,” Mr Yadav said while addressing party leaders.
He added that due to SP, democracy and secularism have toughened up.There is no space for criminals in Samajwadi Party and leaders should remain alert about their behavior.
Yadav said that few party workers were “maligning” image of the party due to their act of “plundering and hooliganism”.
Mulayam Singh Yadav said that Few party workers are involved in “land, money, plundering and hooliganism”. They are not very much interested in ensuring SP government’s return in 2017.
“Such workers are maligning image of the party.What district presidents and devoted workers are doing. I have report of everyone. I have to run the party that is why I ignore but used to point it out from time to time,” Mr Yadav said.
Yadav accused Bhartiya Janta Party of getting involved in communal politics and said that it was “dangerous for the country“.
He further added that they have to be alert about their tactics because it is creating a conspiracy against development. SP has taken a number of measures for socio-economic development of Uttar Pradesh.
Mulayam Singh Yadav said that Akilesh, Chief Minister has a clean image and he was sure that Samajwadi Party would come to power for the second time.
He requested to Vidhan Parishad members and presidents of the district to make Akhilesh Yadav (his son) Chief Minister for a second time and form a majority government in 2017 Assembly elections.
Akhilesh Yadav said that he had launched schemes of welfare without any discrimination and people have started receiving benefits from these schemes.
