Mayawati attacks centre and up cm over mathura violence


Mayawati , BSP chief attacks at the Centre and Akhilesh Yadav’s government over Mathura violence where 24 people were dead.

“While the BJP is not performing at the Centre, the people of UP are having to deal with jungleraj (lawlessness) under the Samajwadi Party government,” she said accusing Modi government of inaction.

She said that a CBI or court-monitored inquiry into riots is needed and added that Akhilesh Yadav, chief minister was not required in Bundelkhand but in Mathura.  Akhilesh Yadav was on an official visit to Mahoba in Bundelkhand.

24 people that includes 2 policemen were killed in rift between police and members of a sect who had intruded on government land in Mathura.

Questioning the BJP governor’s silence, Mayawati said that in Uttar Pradesh the Law and order is absent but at the Centre’s like previous governments of Congress , BJP government at Centre is also silent this time.

Slamming the programmes to celebrate two years of Modi government, the BSP chief said: “Forget about achchey din, now the bure din of government are coming (forget the promise of good days, now bad days are on the cards for the government).”

She added that do not fall prey to Modi’s catchy slogans . The promises made by NDA , NDA has failed to keep the promises that were made before the 2014 Lok Sabha elections while sympathizing the poor was and sais that it was “artificial and just on paper”.

Mayawati said that ruling SP and BJP will fight for the second spot in the upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh elections in 2017.
