RSS Meets In Kanpur To Discuss Strategy For Upcoming Polls In Many States

In four states, the discussions for upcoming elections which includes Uttar Pradesh, and the measures to spread RSS programmes are mostly to be the focus of annual meeting which is going to take place for 5 days and in Kanpur, it's regional office-bearers going to start.

As per the sources, Uttar Pradesh’s Assembly polls, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab, are due for next year, are to be discussed in detail and strategy will be detailed out in order to ensure the victory of BJP in the upcoming elections at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh meeting, an annual affair.

For the annual meeting, Mohan Bhagwat, RSS chief; Bhaiyyaji Joshi, general secretary and 41 regional pracharaks have arrived in the city, Prant Prachar Pramukh Mohan Agarwal said that informal meetings are going on among the leaders.

According to the sources, Ram Laland Ram Madhav BJP national general secretaries might participate in the meeting.

It is speculated that Rajnath Singh, Home Minister and Amit Shah, BJP president will participate in the meeting, However, Agrawal said that he has no information in this regard.

He added that across the country, annual meeting of regional pracharaks will be held in a private engineering college of Bithur.

According to Agarwal,from July 11-13 during the first phase of the meeting, discussions will be held on social issues.

In the second phase,in the meeting 40 organisations associated with RSS, including Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), BJP and Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh, will participate.

Agarwal said that the meeting is an annual affair and policy related decisions or proposals will not be taken up.
