Sheila Dikshit, Chief minister of Delhi for three-times , rejected of taking a big role in U.P. , where elections are going to take place next year.
According to the Sources, Dikshit has told the Congress that she is not interested to be Congress’s chief ministerial candidate for the Uttar Pradesh elections and gave “lack of time” as the reason behind the refusal.
Prashant Kishor, Poll strategist had proposed a Brahmin leader for the party in Uttar Pradesh. Dikshit is the most suitable fit for the C.M. Candidate.
Sheila Dikshit had met Sonia Gandhi , Congress president in order to discuss the plan. “Nothing to report.” was her Dikshit’s reply when she was confronted by the reporters after the meeting.
Among the reports of Dikshit’s possible new role, Najeeb Jung, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi had forwarded a complaint of corruption for investigation against Dikshit in a water tanker deal worth 400-crore. The complaint has been made by Sheila Dikshit’s successor Arvind Kejriwal.
